This year’s Volunteer Luncheon honored volunteering residents at Givens Highland Farms and the greater Black Mountain/Swannanoa Valley community. The event took place in April and had the lively theme of “Thanks A Latte.” 

The Administrative Staff donned their aprons and served 150 of our residents at this festive luncheon.  Our resident volunteers help in so many ways: delivering mail in our health care center, maintaining the greenhouse and community garden, staff our library, gift, thrift and card shops.  One volunteer went as far as repairing a chair in the woodworking shop for another resident!

What better way to say thank you to all of our resident volunteers who give their time each day to help enrich our community and the lives of others!
