Our social programming is inspired by the needs of our senior residents. Givens Highland Farms takes a “come as you are and everyone is welcome” approach to events and programming. There is always a fun way to engage and connect, from simple game nights with trivia or board games to community-wide holiday events or local Black Mountain festivals. Each week there are “drop-in” morning coffees or pop-up picnics, or outdoor movies where you can gather and catch up with neighbors. Arts and crafts workshops, travel and hiking clubs, and poetry and book club discussions provide opportunities to connect with people who share similar interests.

Spiritual

Spirituality is a valuable dimension of wellness. Our senior-living community cultivates programming, including weekly Bible Studies, Vespers services, daily inspirations, and other programming developed and led by our community Chaplain. Our Meditation Room provides a quiet space for reflection or prayer and is accessible to everyone in the community at any time.
