Sock Hop
Givens Highland Farms recently put on the first ever Sock Hop! It was a wonderful time and also served as a school supply drive for the Black Mountain Home for Children.
Residents and guests alike enjoyed a “Happy Days” inspired menu complete with hamburger sliders, hot dogs, onion rings, fries, coke, root beer floats and gourmet ice cream sandwiches. Diets were definitely not on the menu that evening.
While the residents enjoyed their dinner, the DJ spun fun tunes from the 50’s and early 60’s which made for great dancing
The residents raised over $500 worth of school supplies for which the Home for Children was most grateful.
