On March 12, 2019, Givens Highland Farms took a lively group of residents to the Sierra Nevada Brewery for a self-guided tour and lunch.

The tour was wonderful and gave us a new insight into the original brewing techniques up to the modern-day practices used today.

The residents learned Sierra Nevada grows some of the produce used in their restaurant on its 200 acres. Most of the wood used in building the restaurant came from trees on the property.

Lunch was tasty and we sampled burgers, chili, pizza and, Hunter Sausage and Kraut and the beer was especially delicious.

After lunch, we spent time wandering the grounds which were absolutely lovely and a great afternoon was had by all!
