On April 12th, United Way of Buncombe County held their Spring Days of Impact and our own Givens Highland Farms’ team members really stepped up to the plate to help the community. Our terrific team traveled not-so-far away to the Black Mountain Neuro-Medical Treatment Center to assist with their first ever wellness fair! It was a beautiful day, the sun was bright, the sky was blue and spirits were high. Givens team members socialized with the staff and residents of the BMNMTC and had a wonderful time serving and participating in the various activities set up for the wellness fair.  

The definition of impact (v.) is “to have a strong effect on someone or something”. One thing is certain, United Way’s Days of Impact had a marvelous effect on all of those who gave of their time and talents as well as those who received help from this special event. By the end of the day, everyone was wearing a smile on their face. Giving back to the Black Mountain community, the community that we all so love, was the perfect way to usher in the spring season.
