Givens Communities has officially launched a partnership with the Buck Institute for Research on Aging, a global leader in the science of longevity, with the rollout of the LIVE (Longevity Inspired Vitality Education) program across all five Givens campuses.

An initiative of Givens Communities’ Longevity and Brain Health Program, LIVE brings cutting-edge aging research directly to residents through engaging educational experiences designed to promote healthier, more vibrant aging. The program transforms complex scientific discoveries into practical strategies that residents can apply in their daily lives to support brain health, physical function, metabolic resilience, sleep, immune health, and overall vitality.

“The science of aging is advancing rapidly, yet many of its most powerful insights remain inaccessible to those who stand to benefit most,” said Taryn Tindall, Givens Communities Longevity & Brain Health Program Director. “This partnership brings the science of healthy aging out of the laboratory and into everyday life in our communities, where it can meaningfully shape how residents age.”

The LIVE program features two educational formats. Master Classes include a 15 to 20-minute video presentation created by Buck Institute researchers, followed by a facilitated group discussion led by Givens team members. These discussions are designed to reinforce learning, build community connections, and help residents leave with practical, actionable takeaways. Each Givens campus will host a Master Class monthly. In addition, residents may attend optional Seminars, which feature moderated conversations with Buck researchers and industry experts focused on topics related to longevity and healthy aging.

The first series of LIVE sessions is now underway, with opportunities scheduled across multiple Givens campuses. Additional sessions, including opportunities at Great Laurels and future programming dates, will be announced as schedules are finalized.

By making world-class scientific expertise engaging, understandable, and relevant, the LIVE program strengthens Givens Communities’ commitment to lifelong health, purpose, and independence. It also reflects a broader vision for wellness that emphasizes prevention, resilience, and sustained capability throughout the aging journey.

“This collaboration reflects our conviction that informed individuals, supported by intentional environments, can shape their own course of health and function over time,” Tindall added. “It also underscores our commitment to helping lead the work of extending healthspan, not just lifespan, for the people we serve.”

Through this partnership with the Buck Institute, Givens Communities continues to advance its mission of redefining what it means to age well by bringing the promise of longevity science into everyday life and empowering residents with knowledge that supports healthier aging today and into the future.

Givens Communities, together with the Givens Foundation, remains deeply committed to uplifting and investing in organizations like the Buck Institute for Research on Aging whose work advances knowledge, innovation, and real-world impact. By aligning philanthropic resources with leading research institutions, Givens Communities helps accelerate the translation of discovery into practical solutions that improve lives today and for generations to come.
